High-purity nano alumina is prepared by plasma vapor phase combustion method, featuring high purity, small particle size, uniform distribution, large specific surface area, clean surface, no residual impurities, low bulk density, easy dispersion, stable crystal phase, high hardness, and excellent dimensional stability. It is particularly effective in reinforcing and toughening various plastic, rubber, and ceramic products, enhancing the density, smoothness, thermal fatigue resistance, fracture toughness, and creep resistance of ceramics, as well as improving the wear resistance of polymer materials. Since nano alumina is also an excellent far-infrared emitting material, it is used in chemical fiber products and high-pressure sodium lamps as a far-infrared emitting and insulating material. Additionally, α-phase alumina has high resistivity and good insulation properties, making it suitable for use in key components of YAG laser crystals and integrated circuit substrates.
